A place to discuss any and all things Virtual Reality. Before anyone answers “just use Virtual Desktop”, that is NOT the experience I’m looking for. I’m looking to put a standard 2D image onto the whole headset display. I’m NOT looking for a 3D environment with a virtual monitor I can look at or away from. I’m truly sorry if I’m not making sense, but I’m trying my best. I’ve done hours of research and have not been able to find a definitive answer to this question. I’m looking to play standard games with the VR headset display itself as a monitor. Example: can I play, say, Metro Exodus or Arkham Knight on a VR headset? I’m looking for a function akin to duct-taping a monitor to your face, basically. EDIT/ADDENDUM: I am specifically looking for a VR headset because I want to be able to play native VR games as well.
