I love the general idea of being able to design a virtual avatar and just play dress up with them, try on different outfits and designs. I know The Sims lets you do this but I’m pretty fed up with the way EA has taken the game into this cash-milking direction where you pay hundreds of dollars just to own all the “cosmetics”, same with programs like IMVU which want you to spend tons of money just to buy virtual outfits. I’m looking for something where you can design a modern-looking character, and have access to a huge variety of outfits and accessories without having to spend a fortune on DLC or microtransactions. I don’t even care if it’s a $60 game, but I want it to have “everything in the box”. A game with huge variety of cosmetic “dress up” options, without it being gated behind paywall after paywall. Also prefer it to bein the gamealready, I know mods exist but I don’t want to spend hours downloading and installing skins and outfits, I just want to play dress up.
