Companies try to sell us that next gen gaming is stuff like AI on Npcs, Ray Tracing, shorter load times.. That stuff is cool, but if that’s all gaming has to offer in the next 20 years, then it’s just boring (compared to what it could be) VR has limitless potential, where as most tech today has reached a point where gen by gen differences are marginal.
