Time to buy a VR Treadmill? Omni One vs C2+ vs C2 Core

A place to discuss any and all things Virtual Reality. My beta window has finally opened for getting an Omni One, and at the same time the C2 Core is on discount preorder and I’m torn. I already have a Quest 2 and am primarily a PC VR player, have planned to go for a treadmill for a while to integrate more movement/exercise into my gaming. There just isn’t much in the way of reviews out there besides the C2 so I hope the hive mind can help confirm what I’m seeing from posts and video observation: Omni One Possible Pros: Larger base? More realistic movement? Can use my own comfy shoes Cons: More expensive, SteamVR or Virtuix store only. Does this thing even support the same SteamVR games as the KatVR? C2+ Possible Pros: Haptics, better calibration software, seated mode Possible Cons: proprietary shoes break easily, are more expensive, smaller base? Haptics may stink per some users C2 Core Possible pros: Price, calibration software, seated mode Possible Cons: same as the C2+ It likely comes down to the natural movement in SteamVR games for me. If the Omni One can be a more durable/natural movement solution and let me use good shoes, I’m all in going that route. If everything else is equal and the C2+ haptics are really cool then I’ll go that route, if they aren’t, then the Core would be best. Key things I’m having a hard time finding info on: is the Omni One platform noticeably bigger and can you ‘run’ more easily, it appears that way in videos. BUT, if it uses unnatural software with SteamVR like the original Omni, then it sounds like a no regardless, that seemed to be a flop. Also, why is the C2 Core so much taller than the Plus? Does it feel different? FWIW I’m not worried about company ownership of the Pico vs Quest either, they’re both shady and I assume they already have my SSN and sperm count. Looking to decide in the next 2 weeks and would like your input, especially anyone that has used more than one of these or had significant issues with one of these specific models
