I don’t know if there is an established consensus here about what the best shooters for VR are. There’s just so many of them to try out and I haven’t tried more than just a couple. I guess for some people the “best FPS” question also depends on whether we’re talking about multiplayer or singleplayer-focused FPS. I’m more into the second type, to be honest. But the multiplayer ones Ihavetried have way more replayability and + bonus if the devs are still supporting the game For different reasons, my top choices would probably be something like Into the Radius | One of the very first (FPS) games I played, and to this day I think one of the best. What I liked about it the most was how it handled the suspense building (which works so good in VR) with the very solid gun interactivity and animations. Certainly one of the more unique shooter experiences I had in VR VAIL VR | Probably the best multiplayer shooter I tried out. I was gifted it a while ago but just now got round to it in my backlog and damn, just by the size of the update I think a lot of stuff got added in the meanwhile. Matchmaking still takes like 3-5 min, but depends on the match-up, it seems. Weapon models look absolutely dope, aiming feels smooth/responsive, and good variety of matches and map layouts to loop you in really fast Half Life: Alyx | It would just feel wrong not to mention this all round great game (not only the shooting but the great feel for the movement, interactivity with the gravity gun, and graphical fidelity all make it stand out even today imho
